Strategically located in Brantford, Ontario, Blastech Rail Services is AAR M1003 certified to M1002 requirements. Blastech Rail provides an efficient and economical solution to industry demands of tank cars.  

Brant Corrosion Control is in the process of the final bearing housing for the Chief Joseph Dam project located in the State of Washington. This refurbished piece was steam cleaned to remove unknown contaminants and then blasted to SP-5/NACE No.1 White Metal Blast Cleaning specification. Brant Corrosion Control then applied the Corps. Of Engineers formula V-766e vinyl coating as required by Alstom’s project specification. This project will wrap up by the end of the week.

Robin Frye and Alicia Bruder of TF Warren Group attended a presentation at the St. Louis NACE Section's monthly meeting that highlighted the use of drone technology in the coatings industry. 

Globaltherm completed the insulation of a stainless steel storage tank in Baytown, TX.  The insulation system consists of prefabricated materials for storing Demineralized Water.

Mario Gutierrez has joined Tarsco as VP of Engineering and Estimating.  With over 35 years of sales, operations, engineering and estimating experience, Mario will be responsible for leading our engineering and estimating groups.  He will be based at our Corporate office located in The Woodlands, TX.

Blastech Mobile completed this turnkey refrigerated terminal located in the Dominican Republic.  Blastech Mobile provided abrasive blasted and applied weldable preconstruction primer to 69,300 square feet of steel plates from their plant in Mobile, AL.

James Carrigan has joined the Blastech Rail Division as the new General Manager. He has a wealth of experience in the field of operations, process management, materials and logistics. James is returning to Ontario from Alberta where he orchestrated the turn over and completions on major projects with Fluor, ThyssenKrupp and Ganotec.
