Scope of Work:
- Removal of two 10,000 and 3,000 BBL bolted galvanized salt water storage tanks
- Installation of a new 10,000 BBL salt water storage tank
Install operations:
- Installed internal cathodic protection system
- Installed primary skim pump
- All mechanical and electrical tie ins
Modifications / Repairs:
- Sweep-blasted interior of new tank and applied epoxy phenolic interior coating system
- Re-installed all tank appurtenances including stairway
- All related site work including re-grading
- All equipment, materials and construction spoils had to be moved to and from job site with barges due to facility being located on an island
- All labor had to be boated to the island daily
