High Build Coatings
Premium Plate offers abrasive cleaning to our standard SSPC SP10 Near White Metal specification with a 1.5 - 2.5 sharp dense profile and the ability to apply high build coatings and primers from major coating suppliers up to a nominal 5 mil dry film thickness to the top surface of the plate. After curing the dry film thickness is verified to SSPC PA 2 standards. We also can leave a 3" margin uncoated to facilitate welding and as needed simultaneously apply a weldable primer to the plate bottom.

After curing we are able to bevel, square, and roll the coatings to a radius of 20 feet or greater. This breakthrough development offers our customers a further option for us to process plate which can be economically delivered directly to the job site without further handling.
