Blastech is nearing the end of an industrial ducting project. The project consisted of 62 large panels and miscellaneous small pieces. Each piece is abrasive blasted to SSPC-SP6 specification and primed. Once complete, all of the ducting will be shipped to the site where it will be installed in a power generation facility.

Tarsco Bolted Tank held its first Spanish speaking tank construction training school this week in Goodman, MO. The participants of the school constructed a bolted tank inside the building, that will be utilized in the new coatings facility.

The progress continues on the new coatings paint system in Goodman, MO. The staff has been working diligently on the installation of the new equipment.

After a rigorous audit, which included an administrative review and field audit, Blastco became the FIRST contractor to earn accreditation from the NACE International Institute Contractor Accreditation Program (NIICAP).   By earning the NIICAP seal, contractors verify that they are fully qualified to perform the best and latest in coatings preparation, application and inspection techniques and practices. For owners, this translates to better quality, increased savings and reduced risks.

NIICAP is an industry‐designed and managed program focused on contractors involved with professional project management and project performance in the surface preparation and coating or lining application industry; it was created in response to demand for an alternative to other coatings contractor accreditation programs.

Well done Blastco!
