Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of highly sophisticated packing machines and adhere to strict production schedules
  • Work as part of a team to load and unload materials
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, and help maintain a safe, orderly work environment
  • Meet the performance standards for production and quality assurance
  • Report safety hazards, quality concerns, and production issues
  • Move materials around facility using pallets and crates
  • Stack loads in correct storage place
  • Complete forms and handle documentation
  • Inspect machinery to determine need for repairs, and ensure safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports of issues
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Transport raw materials to production place
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Certification to operate crane and telehandler forklifts (ex: OSHA in the US)
  • Proven Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting consistently
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination 
  • Language fluency (speaking, reading, writing) for location of employment
  • Ability to understand codes and fill out forms correctly
  • Cleared criminal history (background) check and satisfactory reference checks.
