Blastco was awarded a repair project in Diego Garcia for the US Navy. Scope of work includes both interior and exterior coatings of a jet fuel tank. This project is particularly challenging logistically, the equipment and supplies are being loaded out of Southern California onto a boat bound for Singapore where they are loaded onto military vessels. Blastco is a NIICAP accredited and QP-1, QP-2 and QS-1 certified contractor.

Blastco is restoring a water tank located at Fort Bliss, Texas. The capacity of the tank is being increased by removing the roof, installing an additional shell ring and reinstalling the roof. The interior and exterior of the tank will be recoated, new cathodic protection, electrical upgrades and miscellaneous mechanical repairs/upgrades.
