The scope of work included abrasive blasting and recoating the interior and exterior of the tank, structural, safety and electrical improvements. Blastco had to work around the songbirds nesting season which is March – August and is exclusive to Texas. After the nesting season was over and it was deemed safe, the crew finished the project by the February 28, 2020 deadline.
