We are able to offer our REDI-PLATE™ service, the abrasive cleaning and coating of steel plate with specially formulated inorganic pre-construction primers, prior to fabrication. The preprocessed plates can then be plasma cut to size, beveled and rolled without coating removal, saving the customer the cost of major surface preparation after fabrication. Each plates processing history and quality data is individually recorded and retained in our electronic data base and is then stenciled per our customers instructions before shipping.
Premium Plate provides the following services:
- Abrasive blasting to SSPC SP-10 to produce a sharp dense profile on all surfaces
- Application of Inorganic weldable preconstruction primers
- Application of non-weldable organic and inorganic primers, as well as epoxies at higher film builds
- Processed plates can be plasma cut, beveled and rolled to size without coating removal
- Saves the disruptive and high cost of on-site surface preparation after fabrication
- Each plate is tracked individually and stenciled per customer purchase order
- Quality data is electronically recorded and historically stored for customer reference
