Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Powder coating manager oversees painting and powder coating operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule work, staffing, and budgeting jobs
- Directing process development, quality assurance, and cost control measures.
- Assess employee performance
- Plan and coordinate routine maintenance of equipment
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
- Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance
- Knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment, proper cleaning, and maintenance of equipment
- Responsible for managing current external customers and acquiring potential customers to fill the powder coating line time
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

- At least 3 years Powder Coating Management Experience highly desired
