We are currently looking for a highly motivated and dependable Powder Coating Applicators to join our team. This team member will perform various tasks in the powder coating process.

Some of the specific duties are, but not limited to the following:

• Perform preparation and pre-painting activities on parts in preparation for painting
• Assure parts are properly prepared for powder coating
• Prep parts for painting by pre racking, plugging, sanding, masking
• Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces
• Operate coating systems or equipment to spray a range of surfaces
• Clean spray guns and booths correctly
• Provide maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction
• Prepare powder coating line prior to beginning the powder coating process
• Maintain safe and clean workstation while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

• H.S. Diploma/GED
• 0-1 years of related experience
• Knowledge of surface preparation to ensure proper coating adhesion and a basic understanding of paint equipment and paint-booth operation
• Familiar with the various types of metal abrasive treatments such as media-blasting, chemical etching, Degreasers, etc.
• Uphold Good Manufacturing processing standards
• Comfortably lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Knowledge of basic safety, power tools, and productivity.
• Background knowledge of machining and metal manufacturing practices is a plus
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
